The photographer toured Europe making this study of children of all stations and circumstance. She manages to depict their several plights without ever straying into the mire of mawkishness. With the artist’s signed presentation inscription to the writer and psychologist Edmund Jacobson.

Tips very lightly rubbed but an excellent copy in the photographic dustjacket somewhat rubbed and frayed and missing a substantial piece albeit costing no text to the lower panel.
